If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It

True...but you better have a really good plan!

In the quest for continuous improvement you must first subscribe to the premise that you are in control of your behavior. Decisions are made, words are formulated, energy is generated, alternatives are chosen, risks are taken, habits are changed, and options are weighed and selected. These actions are within your power. You can exercise control over your own fate and fortune. You cannot always dictate destiny, but you can manage your reactions, actions, preparation, conduct, and bearing. Decide on your own path.

“You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take.” Wayne Gretzky

If you think you are just a minor player in a play that was written by someone else and your script cannot be modified, then you may as well act out your preordained part and try to find satisfaction in little things. If, however, you feel you want to draft your own script and play the part according to your own ambitions, come on in.

“If you think you can, or you think you can't, you're probably right.” Mark Twain

Once you have decided your path, you can't wait for a bus to carry you to your destination. You have to take positive, proactive steps to reach success. Take time to define  your goals, write down your objectives and determine your plan of action.

"Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there!"  Will Rogers.
